Swiftwater Earthworks is a landscape design-and-build company in South Cle Elum, owned and run by Brandon Bowen. We design landscapes for the mountains of upper Kittitas County, then build them with our own crew. Our tagline says it plainly: turning dreams into realities from the ground up.
Local, and glad to share what we know
Brandon is local, family-minded and community-minded. When you work where you live, your name travels with every job, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
What he loves most is the design side of landscaping: standing on a piece of ground and working out where the water runs, where the sun lands, what the snow will do and what could be built there. He likes to share what he knows, too. Walk a property with Brandon and you’ll come away understanding it better than when you started.
How we work
We price honestly, then over-deliver. The same crew that plans your project builds it, from the first sketch to the last plant, so nothing gets lost between the plan and the build. That’s the heart of our landscape design work.
When a job reaches past what we do best, we’ll tell you so. Brandon will connect you with a local business he trusts, because getting the job done right matters more than keeping it in-house.

Where we work
We’re based at 604 Cleveland Ave in South Cle Elum and work across Kittitas County, mostly the upper county: Cle Elum, Roslyn, Ronald, Easton, Suncadia and Tumble Creek, and the Teanaway, along with Thorp, Kittitas and Ellensburg. We know what this country does to a yard: freeze-thaw winters, heavy snow, spring runoff, dry summers, steep lots and a short build season. We design for all of it.
Swiftwater Houseworks
Our property-care division, Swiftwater Houseworks, takes care of the house itself: handyman repairs, small remodels, flooring, vacation home care and house cleaning for vacation rentals and second homes. One local call covers the yard and the house.
